Josephine graduated with a degree in Fine Art in 1996 and since then has sold and exhibited both nationally and internationally. She has also received commissions for public artworks ranging from a yacht sail design for the White Horses Whitstable project in 2013, to a mural for Foyles Bookshop in London.
Josephine participated in the Big Draw initiative, and was Artist in Residence at Canterbury’s The Beaney Art Gallery and Museum in 2012.
“My work is presently concerned with the use of colour and the way colour can reflect and express a mood or emotion; although this lockdown has been challenging, having three shows cancelled meant that I had the time to concentrate on exploring different colour palettes and painting techniques, which was very liberating.”
