Here are a couple of images to show a short-time-colour of my studio during lockdown, (yellow and black on one side and pink on the other), with work-on-paper stapled up on paintings, and on the door, and generally heaping ‘enforced’-smaller work up on other bigger work.
As I have cancelled my studio-help, and with space running out, I have ended up with new heap-up systems and combinations….. The yellow heads are oil on paper, and yellow takes a bit of time to dry…. silly to use it at all, and particularly to use it thick, but I liked the positive-drama of yellow and black in these drab months…’plague ptgs’ the heads have been called.
