Wendy has been painting since the 1980s, first studying at evening classes for an O and A level in art and then later for a BA Hons at Kingston University.
Since then she has worked in her own studio, mostly on abstract landscapes and working in a range of media including oils, water colour and various printmaking techniques.
In addition to using traditional brushes, she experiments with rollers, rags, and many other items that come to hand.
Wendy lives in Faversham and during lockdown, she produced a painting every day which she circulated amongst friends. When she reached 80 paintings she decided that was sufficient.
